Pacers Sports & Entertainment (PS&E) is committed to promoting the development and well being of children and families within our community and continuing our rich history of community involvement. The PS&E Community Relations Department works as an extension of the Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever and Pacers Foundation to develop and implement resourceful and valuable programs that contribute directly to our core purposes of Winning Championships and Serving Community. Pacers Sports & Entertainment is appreciative of the opportunity to give back to a community that has given so much to us.
In recognition of the countless Heroes throughout the state of Indiana, the Indiana Pacers and Veolia Water present the Indiana Heroes Award. This award is presented to an individual or group of individuals who have made an overwhelming impact on the lives of others and who, through their unique commitment and humanitarian spirit, have made exceptional and lasting contributions to our community and our state.
The Indiana Pacers team up with the Indianapolis-Marion County Public Library to present Call-A-Pacer.This annual program allows callers to listen to featured Pacers' players or coaches read a children’s story. Fans of all ages can call (317) 275-4444, to hear members of the Pacers read pre-selected children's stories.
The annual “Come to Our House” Thanksgiving Dinner offers the opportunity for disadvantaged men, women & children to receive a home-cooked Thanksgiving Meal. In addition, participants also have the opportunity to interact with Pacers players, coaches, mascots and Pacemates and receive warm-weather items to help them cope with the cold Indiana winters.
Danny Granger
Granger, working with the U.S. Embassy, traveled to Jakarta, Indonesia, and teamed up with coaches from Indonesian club Satria Muda Britama (SMB) to teach basketball skills to orphans.
T.J. Ford
T.J. Ford Foundation seeks to enhance individuals through programs designed to develop their educational, recreational, physical and social well-being in collaboration with family and community.
