Miami HEAT
The Miami HEAT supports numerous organizations and events throughout the South Florida community. Through our community events and special visits, donations of sports memorabilia and in-kind items, and HEAT player/mascot/dancer appearances as well front-office as staff involvement and volunteerism, the Miami HEAT reaches out to the community on a year-round basis. Our mission is to create impactful programs and initiate community partnerships that will positively influence the lives of our local communities.

The Miami HEAT has embraced the importance of providing children in South Florida with the opportunity to have a quality after-school program by providing economically disadvantaged students who are most at risk of academic failure or juvenile delinquency with a program of after-school tutoring and academic enrichment.
The Miami HEAT, in partnership with Serenity Home Healthcare and Levy Restaurants, have developed the Re-HEAT program to distribute leftover food from all HEAT home games to homeless shelters in the South Florida area. Beneficiary organizations include Miami Rescue Mission and Community Partnership for Homeless.
In an effort to heighten awareness of the importance of water safety for adults and children, the Miami HEAT, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, and the American Red Cross have teamed up for the 8th year of the HEAT Learn to Swim program.
