Boston Celtics
For many years, programs dedicated to New England's youth have been the cornerstone of the Boston Celtics' charitable efforts. By utilizing all of our resources, the goal of the entire Celtics' organization is to make a significant and direct impact on the youth of New England through effective interaction, support and implementation of our outreach initiatives.

The Boston Celtics Stay in School program, presented by Arbella Insurance, is a collaboration of efforts from the Celtics, the New England Sports Museum, the Northeastern University Center for the Study of Sport in Society and the Boston Public Schools. The 2009-10 season marks the 19th year of the Stay in School program.
The mission of the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation is to extend the reach of the Celtics championship legacy into our community. The Shamrock Foundation benefits children directly, through programs that provide education and support. The Shamrock foundation also partners with community based organizations that provide healthcare, shelter and vital services for children in need.
Read to Achieve is the most extensive educational outreach initiative in the history of professional sports. The Boston Celtics' Read to Achieve program consists of a variety of events including player appearances, school visits, book drives and the establishment of reading corners and learning centers.
Paul Pierce
As part of his The Truth on Health Campaign, Pierce founded FitClub34, a web-based “Fit” club that provides children with the information, resources, and tools necessary to become more active and physically fit.
Ray Allen
A national spokesperson for Thurgood Marshall Scholarship Fund, Allen is also active in supporting the work of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
