Breast Health Awareness

The WNBA, in partnership with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), hosted the league’s inaugural WNBA Green Week from June 1-8, 2010. Each of the league’s 13 teams encouraged fans to participate in efforts that generated awareness and funding to protect the environment.
A year-round, league-wide initiative that promotes the values of reading and on-line literacy and encourages families and adults to read regularly with young children. The program includes special reading time-outs, the donation of books, and the creation of Reading and Learning Centers.
