On Saturday, April 2nd, the Mavs and TXU Energy hosted a basketball clinic as part of TXU’s “Alcanzando Nuevas Metas” (“Reach for New Heights”) where children in predominantly Hispanic areas who have minimal financial resources receive an opportunity to experience the Mavs as a reward for outstanding achievements.
Over 75 children from Cesar Chavez Learning Center, JFK Learning Center, Ignacio Zaragoza Elementary, A.W. Spence Middle School and J.W. Ray Learning Center were invited to attend.
