Game 5 of the NBA Finals vs. the Miami Heat

When: Thursday, June 9, 8 p.m. CT tipoff

Where: American Airlines Center; doors open at 6 p.m. Players take the court at 7:40 p.m.

Fans are encouraged to Be There for all the excitement as the Mavs take on the Heat in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

Season Ticket Holder Information: Mavs Season Ticket holders should use the tickets marked

Broadcast Information: ABC, ESPN 103.3 FM, 1270 AM (Spanish)

Mavs Royal Blue Out - The Mavs are asking all fans attending the upcoming home games to wear royal blue to show support for the team as they take on the Heat in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. 21,000 Mavs royal blue t-shirts will be placed in the seats at American Airlines Center for fans to wear.

Party on the AT&T Plaza: The Party on the AT&T Plaza will start at 5 p.m. ESPN’s Galloway and Company, 106.1 KISS FM and Univision will also be broadcasting live on the plaza. Fox Sports Southwest will be live postgame.

Painted Fans Contest: Fans can paint their faces and/or bodies and come show their spirit on the AT&T Plaza for a chance to attend the game for FREE in the Sprite Slam Dunk Zone. There are a limited number of tickets available.

Security: There will be heightened security measures in and around American Airlines Center and all fans are encouraged to arrive early.

The Dallas Mavericks will host FREE watch parties for fans during the NBA Finals.

Fans can join the Mavs Dancers, ManiAACs, Street Team, Ali Dee and Ro Parrish and watch the game on the full HD video boards inside American Airlines Center.

Parking will be available in Lots E and F for $5 and the Platinum parking garage for $10. Fans can enter American Airlines Center through the north and east doors beginning at 7 p.m. both nights.

The North and South Fan Shops will be open for fans to purchase NBA Finals and other Mavs apparel. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.

DALLAS — For the first three games of the NBA Finals, the Dallas Mavericks’ supporting cast received plenty of criticism for not lending leading scorer Dirk Nowitzki enough assistance.

Tuesday night, with Mavericks trying to avoid falling in a 1-3 hole and Nowitzki knocked off his game while battling a fever due to a sinus infection, the team’s unsung heroes sent a resounding message to their critics, as the Dallas squad evened up the championship series against the Miami Heat at two games apiece with a 21-9 run to conclude a come-from-behind, 86-83 victory on the American Airlines Center floor.
