TV play-by-play announcer Mark Followill shares some of his thoughts about tonight's game:

Well, a lot of credit goes to the Suns tonight. Anyone who thought they were going to roll over after Game 3 was sadly mistaken. They demonstrated within games and within series that they are an incredibly resilient bunch, and showed it tonight. The lack of energy and passion with which they played in Game 3 was challenged by Steve Nash afterwards, and they responded. It was evident from the first play of the game when Shawn Marion made a V-line to the basket that this team was going to play with much more fire, and they did. They out-hustled the Mavs, got loose balls and out-competed Dallas en route to a 20-point win.
Even though statistically it didn't show, they definitely got a big lift from the return of Raja Bell who adds competitiveness. We saw it when he played in Dallas, and the Suns feed off that. Also, Bell's return put Leandro Barbosa back into a reserve role, and the young guard who has said he is more comfortable off the bench erupted for his biggest game of the series.
The good news for Dallas is that #1, surely Dirk will not be 3 for 13 and Jason Terry 4 for 11 again, and I doubt a 20-point loss lingers with this team, because as we have learned in the playoffs these games are individual entities with little carryover of momentum or attitude. So, all in all for Dallas, they got what they wanted, a split in Phoenix. Thet see homecourt advantage back in the series and are now facing the best of three with two on their home floor.
So, they're right where I said they needed to be after they stumbled in Game 1, the positives are their transition defense has improved throughout the series and it was still good tonight. The problem was their halfcourt defense was not. But they’ve got a practice tomorrow to make adjustments, and as we've seen throughout the playoffs, they always seem to adjust and bounce back very well after losses, with Game 6 against San Antonio being the only exception.
