On Sunday, April 4th, the Mavs hosted an autograph session at The Shops at Willow Bend to benefit the Donald Hinds Foundation. For a minimum of $50, fans had the opportunity to get autographs from 12 of the 15 current Mavs players. Over 400 people showed up and the foundation raised over $18,000.
Mavs Head Athletic Trainer Roger Hinds recently lost his brother, Donald Hinds, to colon cancer at the age of 38. In honor of his brother, the Donald Hinds Foundation was created to promote the importance of early detection of colorectal cancer and to offer financial assistance to families who are affected.
Thanks to all the fans that came out to support the Mavs and this cause!
