Mavs Recall JJ Barea
DALLAS (February 1, 2007) — The Dallas Mavericks recalled guard Jose Juan Barea today from the Fort Worth Flyers of the NBA D-League.
Barea (6-0, 175) was originally assigned to Fort Worth on January 17. He played in eight games for the NBDL-leading Flyers and averaged 27.3 points, 7.8 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.25 steals in 36.1 minutes per game.
Barea, who was signed as a free agent on August 17, 2006, has played in 12 games for Dallas and has averaged 0.8 minutes and 2.9 points per game.
