Mavs Host First Annual Tux & Tennies Gala

On Friday, March 18th Mavs fans, coaches, players and staff all got dressed up in their best black tie attire and decorated tennies for the first annual Tux & Tennies Gala. The event was held at the Wyndham Anatole Hotel in Dallas. Throughout the night, attendees had the chance to chat with the players and their guests, bid on silent and live auction items and honor the 2004-05 grant recipients.
The event grossed over $400,000! Thanks to all who purchased tables and donated money throughout the night!

 One of the live auction items was the Jason Terry Experience. The winner would get to watch a Mavs practice, lunch with Terry and a "chalk talk." Terry helped up the bidding!

 Guests were encouraged to decorate their tennies. These are two of the top three. The winning shoes (on the left) won a pair of American Airlines tickets!
