How does it feel to make your first all-star?
It’s cool and being able to represent Dallas along with Dirk. We’re going to go out there and have a good time.

Was it a surprise or did you feel like you had a good chance?
It was a good opportunity, but you never know. Luckily the commissioner picked me along with Carmelo so I just got to go out there and represent the western conference.

What were these last eight days like?
They were cool. You know, they really weren’t that stressful. It was just a matter of who the commissioner was going to pick and he went with me.

Was it hard waiting though for them to make a decision?
I was hoping that it would come today because we’re going to be on the road for a week and then we have to come back and then fly back out there (Vegas) for the weekend. Travel plans and stuff like that are kind of hard to do in that short time.

What was going to be your all-star plans if you didn’t make it?
Stay here and spend time with my son.
