Gifts for Soldiers Delivery
The Dallas Mavericks, Dallas Stars and Miami HEAT joined forces with American Airlines to collect “Gifts for Soldiers.” Fans were able to make donations for the soldiers serving overseas, with the items being brought to military personnel at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany, the largest American hospital outside the U.S. The gifts were delivered by members of the Dallas Mavericks Dancers, Mavs mascot Champ, Dallas Stars Ice Girls, Miami HEAT Dancers and HEAT mascot Bernie.
