Pregame Playoff Parties For Game 6
DALLAS (May 28, 2003) - The Dallas Mavericks host the San Antonio Spurs for Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals in the NBA Playoffs Thursday, May 29th at 8 p.m. CT. Following is information regarding pregame party and in-game plans:
Pregame Party Presented by Comcast
Fans are encouraged to wear their Mavs colors and come down early for the pregame party presented by Comcast, which begins at 5:30 p.m. CT. Free festivities include live music by Latin Express, face painting, balloon and sign making and cheers led by Mavs Man, Champ, the ManiAACs and Funslingers, as well as a painted fan contest and inflatable games. In addition, the Dallas Mavericks Dancers will be on-site signing posters and Dallas Mavericks Dancer calendars.
Keeping with tradition, fans who paint themselves will have the opportunity to win free tickets through a painted fan contest sponsored by Cingular Wireless and Hooters. Participants can register two hours prior to tipoff for the contest that will be conducted by the Mavs Street Team one hour prior to tipoff on the South Plaza. Judging will be based on originality, creativity and accessories.
During the game, Comcast will have a table on the concourse near section 121 where fans can sign up for cable and try to win tickets to Game 7 in San Antonio. The winner will be randomly drawn Friday morning.
Game 6 Presented by McDonald’s
All fans who attend Game 6 will receive a coupon for a FREE McGriddle as they enter the doors of American Airlines Center. In addition, Ronald McDonald will be present for Game 6 and will hand out autographed photos to fans. The winner of the third quarter kids uniform race will receive a $100 gift card to the Mavs fan shop and the runner-up will receive a $50 gift card to the Mavs fan shop. Both kids will receive a Ronald McDonald bobblehead and other goodies.
