Mavericks announce their 2006-07 local television schedule
MAVERICKS ANNOUNCE 2006-07 LOCAL TV SCHEDULE
DALLAS - The Dallas Mavericks announced their local television schedule today which includes 42 games on FSN Southwest and 30 on TXA 21. All games can be heard on ESPN Radio 103.3 FM and in Spanish on 1270 AM KFLC. Click here to view the television schedule.
After the Mavericks tip-off their season on TNT against the San Antonio Spurs on Nov. 2, TXA 21 will carry the Mavericks first road game of the season when they travel to Houston on Nov. 4. TXA 21’s telecasts include four games against Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers (Dec. 13, Jan. 7, Jan. 18, Mar. 11) and two games against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers (Mar. 1, Mar. 21). TXA 21 will also broadcast Dallas games vs. Chicago (Nov. 14), at San Antonio (Nov. 24) and vs. Phoenix (Dec. 28). In all, TXA will carry 13 games at home and 17 on the road.
FSN Southwest will cover 24 home games and 18 road games. Their schedule features games against Washington (Nov. 21, Dec. 4), Minnesota (Nov. 27, Feb. 3, Feb. 27), Denver (Dec. 9, Dec. 31), New Jersey (Dec. 5, Mar. 6), and at Indiana (Jan. 12).
Calling all the action on both TXA 21 and FSNSW telecasts are Bob Ortegel, Mark Followill and Laura Green. Ortegel begins his 19th season as the Mavericks TV analyst and second season paired with Followill. Followill joined the TV broadcast in 2005 after spending four years as the play-by-play voice for the Mavericks on ESPN Radio 103.3 FM. Green returns for her second season on the Mavericks broadcast as an analyst.
Chuck Cooperstein enters his second season as the play-by-play voice of the team on ESPN 103.3 FM. He has been a regular on the Dallas/Fort Worth sports scene since 1984 and has been an anchor on ESPN 103.3 FM since the station’s inception in 2001. He will continue to host "SportsNight" weeknights on ESPN Radio. Brad Davis will join Cooperstein on the radio broadcasts. He begins his ninth season as the color analyst.
