Open to boys and girls ages 12-18

Cost: $100 ($85 for Mavs Season Ticket Holders)

Join the inaugural Mavs Entertainment Camp! Choose to practice your skills as a DJ, drummer or mascot, taught by the official Mavs Entertainment Groups.

Campers must choose one area of focus for the camp. Campers should bring their own drum equipment for Drum Camp. Bring mascot costume, if available, for Mascot Camp. Bring headphones for DJ Camp-DJ equipment will be provided.

DJ Camp Highlights Include: DJ Whiz-T

  • Get a retrospective of the art of DJ'ing and performing in large live settings
  • Become familiar with equipment necessities: from crates to hard drives
  • Unravel the basics of mixing
  • The science of putting a playlist together
  • Gather tips on marketing & promotion
  • Demonstration of how to party rock
  • Be introduced to the art of scratching


Drum Camp Highlights Include: Drumline

  • Learn and perform in game music
  • Learn material for an on court performance
  • Participate in an interactive jam session and battles
  • Learn tricks and performance tips from Mavs Drum Line members
  • Take part in a technique workshop built on cool beats
  • Learn how to incorporate movement into your everyday drum line music


Mascot Camp Highlights Include: Mascots

  • Learn game day performances from the Mavs official mascots
  • Perfect the use of Mascot props
  • Learn mascot skits to entertain a crowd
  • Communicate using sign language
  • Do's and Don'ts while in costume
  • The Business of being a mascot
