About the Mavs ManiAACs:
The Mavs ManiAACs, the original male-performance squad in the NBA, are in their fourth full season as the hip-hop dance troupe of beefy men who entertain Mavs fans during home games.

The ManiAACs, originally created to enhance the game experience for fans during the 2002 playoffs, became instant fan favorites that have continued to add to the festive environment of Mavs games and other special events including the 2005 NBA All-Star Game. The Mavs ManiAACS have also appeared nationally on The Tonight Show and The Best Damn Sport Show Period. The guys are very active in the community, making numerous public appearances throughout the Metroplex.

Shella Sattler, a widely-respected and experienced dance instructor and choreographer, is the director of the squad. Sattler, a former Mavericks and L.A. Clippers dancer, also owns and operates Dallas Power House of Dance. In addition to being a former Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader, she has danced with MC Hammer, Run DMC and Snap. She also won more than $100,000 in dance team competition on TV’s Star Search.
