The Dallas Mavericks Dancers are in their 14th year of entertaining basketball fans. Regarded among the best in the NBA, the 2002-03 squad includes professional dancers who, for the seventh consecutive year, will appear at all Mavericks home games. The Dancers are also very active in the community, making numerous public appearances throughout the Metroplex.
Shella Sattler, a widely-respected and experienced dance instructor and choreographer, is the director of the squad. Sattler, a former Mavericks and
L.A. Clippers dancer, also owns and operates the Dallas Power House of Dance. In addition to dancing with MC Hammer, Run DMC and Snap, she also won more than $100,000 in a dance team competition on TV's
Star Search.
