PREP CLASS INFORMATION:
Mavericks Dancer Prep Classes are held at the Power House of Dance from June
8 through July 23, 2009. These classes will be held Monday through Thursday
from 7:30-8:30pm or 8:30-9:30pm. These classes are not mandatory, but are
designed to prepare dancers, 18 years old and up, for the Mavericks Dancers
Audition that will be held Saturday, July 25, 2009. For more information

PRELIMINARY AUDITION:
WHEN: Saturday, July 25, 2009
WHERE: Hilton Anatole Hotel - Coronado Ballroom
TIME: Registration 9:00 am - 10:00 am
Round 1 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Round 2 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
Round 3 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
ATTIRE: Half top (any style, any color)
Short Shorts (any style, any color)
Nude hose (any brand)
White socks
White shoes -dancer sneakers or athletic brands
You will learn all the dance combinations at auditions. You will not have to perform your own routine at any time. Finalists will be announced at this time.
FINAL AUDITION:
WHEN: Sunday, July 26, 2009
WHERE: Elevation Fitness
TIME: 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Training Camp Candidates will be announced at this time.
TRAINING CAMP:
WHEN: Monday through Friday, July 27-31, 2009
WHERE: Elevation Fitness
TIME: 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
THE FINAL TEAM WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON FRIDAY, JULY 31, 2009
Practices will begin Monday, August 3, 2009 and will be held every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Elevation Fitness
REQUIREMENTS: Female-High School Graduate-18 years or older-if selected, must reside in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and have means of transportation-Must be able to attend all rehearsals.
* There are no maximum/minimum height or weight requirements.
A Dallas Mavericks Dancer's schedule is very busy.
A TOTAL COMMITMENT IS REQUIRED!
Directions from Denton:
- Take I-35 South to I-635 East. Take 635 East to Dallas Parkway/Inwood Rd. exit. Exit and veer to the right (southbound) turning right onto Inwood Road. Continue approximately 2 miles down, past Harvest Hill. The Dallas Power House is located a few blocks past Harvest Hill, on the left hand side of the road in the Summertree Shopping Center
Directions from Ft. Worth:
 Take I-30 East to I-35 North to Denton. Exit the Dallas Tollway North. Take the Dallas Tollway North to Forest Lane. Exit Forest Lane and turn left (west). Turn right (north) on Inwood Rd. The Dallas Power House is located a few blocks down, past Willow Lane on the right hand side of the road in the Summertree Shopping Center.
