The Dallas Mavericks held off a spirited fourth quarter rally to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks, 90-75, to repeat as Division I Champion at the 58th Annual National Wheelchair Basketball Tournament at historic Memorial Coliseum at the University of Kentucky Saturday.
The Bucks twice cut the Maverick lead to 11 in the final quarter, but never got any closer. Dallas opened the game with a 29 point quarter and finished the first half shooting a blistering 61 percent from the field. Paul Schulte and Jeff Glasbrenner led a very balanced Dallas attack. Schulte scored 25 points and passed for 13 assists. Glasbrenner added 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds. Dave Durepos scored 27 for the Bucks. Gavin Cloy and Jeremy Lade added 15 each. The Mavericks have won three of the last four Division I titles and seven of the last 10.
