Darrell Armstrong, Devin Harris and Mavs mascot Champ were all on hand to congratulate T.A. Sims Elementary School in Fort Worth for winning the Mavs Adop-A-School Reading Challenge contest. The Mavs challenged 2nd-4th graders at all five schools to read as many minutes as they could for two months. T.A. Sims read 240,820 minutes!

Devin and Darrell congratulated the kids on all their hard work and talked about the importance of reading and getting an education. Devin and Darrell presented the principal of T.A. Sims, Rudy Valdez, with a plaque from the Mavs. The guys also presented Elizabeth Contreras with her own special plaque for being the top reader from the school.

Congratulations to T.A.Sims for all their hard work on this challenge!
