DALLAS (June 20, 2004) -- Hoop It Up took over American Airlines Center this weekend and the competition was intense! Mavs scouts were on the scene and selected the top 20 Hoop-It-Up stars of the weekend to participate in an open tryout. Donnie Nelson and Dallas’ scouts cut the field down to the best six players who will play in the Mavericks Summer League mini-camp and could possibly join Josh Howard on the Mavericks Summer League Team that competes in July.
