Mavs and Nick & Sam’s Host 12th Annual Turkey Dunk
Untitled Document

On Monday, the Mavs and Nick & Sam’s partnered with the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) for the 12th annual Turkey Dunk Thanksgiving Party at American Airlines Center. This is the first year that the Mavs have partnered with Nick and Sam’s and DARS for this annual event. DARS administers programs that ensure Texas is a state where people with disabilities, and children who have developmental delays, enjoy the same opportunities as other Texans to live independent and productive lives.

The afternoon featured a basketball clinic and Q&A session with all Mavs players and coaches, followed by a four course Thanksgiving meal courtesy of Nick & Sam’s. All children in attendance received a Turkey Dunk t-shirt and a Mavs goodie bag. See below for photos from the event.
