Mavericks Speakers Bureau

The Dallas Mavericks Speakers Bureau was created in a continued effort to make an impact in the community. The bureau consists of Mavericks broadcast announcers and staff who speak to community groups and organizations within the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Topics include life on the road, coaching strategies, and motivational speeches. If your organization would like to request a Speaker for your event, please send your request to jessica.hunt@dallasmavs.com for consideration.

GUIDELINES:

Your request must be received at least six weeks prior to the event.
Please include: date, time, and location, size of group, contact name, phone number, and topic.

*** Consult the game schedule prior to submitting your request as some speakers are not available during home/road games.

Laura Green - Mavs Television Analyst

Laura Green begins her third season as a Mavericks television analyst. Green came to Dallas a year ago after working in both radio and television in San Antonio. In two seasons prior to her arrival in Dallas, she was a sports reporter and anchor at KABB – Fox 29 TV in San Antonio. During the 2001, 2002, 2003 NBA Playoffs, she served as the courtside reporter for the San Antonio Spurs radio broadcast.

Green began her career as a free lance reporter in 1996 covering the Spurs. In 1997, she was hired at WOAI/KTKR radio in San Antonio. During her time at WOAI/KTKR, she served as a reporter and executive sports producer, co-hosted the afternoon “Sports Talk San Antonio” show, co-hosted the Spurs pre-game show from 1999-2003 and spent the 2001-02 season as the studio host for Spurs Radio Network.

Green graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University in 1995 with a degree in telecommunications. While at Texas Tech, she worked at the campus radio station KTXT and interned at KCBD TV in Lubbock.
