Mavericks Speakers Bureau


The Dallas Mavericks Speakers Bureau was created in a continued effort to make an impact in the community. The bureau consists of Mavericks broadcast announcers and staff who speak to community groups and organizations within the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Topics include life on the road, coaching strategies, and motivational speeches. If your organization would like to request a Speaker for your event, please send your request to jessica.hunt@dallasmavs.com for consideration.

GUIDELINES:

  • Your request must be received at least six weeks prior to the event.
  • Please include: date, time, and location, size of group, contact name, phone number, and topic.

*** Consult the game schedule prior to submitting your request as some speakers are not available during home/road games.

Chuck Cooperstein - Mavs Radio Play-by-Play

Chuck Cooperstein is entering his fourth season as the radio play-by-play voice of the Mavericks on ESPN 103.3 FM. Cooperstein has been a regular on the Dallas/Fort Worth sports scene since 1984 and has been an anchor on ESPN 103.3 FM since the station’s inception in 2001.

Cooperstein’s extensive sports broadcasting background includes play-by-play stints with TCU and the University of Texas football, as well as TCU, Texas A&M and SMU basketball. He has broadcast CBS/Westwood One NCAA basketball games since 1991 and CBS/Westwood One college football games since 1995. He has also hosted the Dallas Cowboys pre-game shows. In addition, he has received a Katie Award for his play-by-play expertise from the Dallas Press Club.

The New York City native has a B.S. in Broadcasting from the University of Florida. He is the proud father of one son, Jeffrey.
