Buckner Provides Free Haircuts for Local Kids
On Sunday, Feb. 25, Mavs guard Greg Buckner, the Greg Buckner Foundation and The Fade Shop Hair Salon teamed up to sponsor haircuts for 30 kids from Buckner Children & Family Services. EXY Nails also be provided nail and toe polish for the girls.

Buckner was on hand during the event to sign autographs and take pictures with the kids. In addition, the Mavs Street Team provided entertainment and passed out Mavs t-shirts and other goodies while the kids were waiting to get their haircut. Pizza 2 Go provided pizza and drinks for everyone.

“We are excited to team up with the Fade Shop to offer this unique opportunity to some very deserving kids,” said Buckner. “I get my haircut at the Fade Shop and I’m always impressed with the family atmosphere and the professionalism with which they carry out their business. Ozell (the owner) definitely shares my beliefs in giving back to the community.”
