Win a Free Hoop Camp with Academy!
The Dallas Mavericks and Academy Sports + Outdoors are partnering to help promote Dallas Mavericks Hoop Camps at local store locations.
Hoop Camp registration forms are available at the displays and kids may also enter a sweepstakes to win a free Hoop Camp and an adidas prize pack.
Each of the 13 stores in the DFW area will be giving away one free Hoop Camp for a total of 13 winners and the Mavs will also be holding a minimum of two free Hoop Camp Clinics at select Academy retail locations.
Official Rules.
(1) No purchase necessary. (2) Sweepstakes open to legal residents within a 75 mile radius of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex ages eight to eighteen , except employees and immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) of adidas, Academy Sports and Outdoors, the Dallas Mavericks, the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, owners, employees and agents. Winner, if under the age of 18, must provide parent/legal guardian consent to redeem prize (3) To enter, fill out an official entry form at the Dallas Mavericks Hoop Camp display at participating Academy Sports and Outdoors locations. Promotion begins on March 9, 2012. Entries must be received by midnight on May 31, 2011. Limit one entry per person. Winners will be chosen at random from each participating store and will be notified by phone. In the event the winner cannot be contacted within seven days or declines the prize an alternate winner will be chosen at random from remaining store entries. (4) Prizes: One free 2012 Dallas Mavericks Hoop Camp registration will be awarded from entries from each participating location for a total of thirteen winners. The winning prize is non-transferable to any other person, including relatives or friends. (5) Winner is solely responsible for all applicable federal, state and local taxes and any expenses associated with the game, unless otherwise indicated. No substitution, cash equivalent or transfer of prize permitted except at the team’s option for a prize of comparable or greater value. (6) Approximate retail value of each prize is: $285.00. (7) Chances of winning are based on the total number of entries received at each location. (8) A list of winners can be obtained by writing Dallas Mavericks, Hoop Camp Sweepstakes, 2909 Taylor Street, Dallas, TX, 75226. (9) By entering, entrant agrees to follow the Official Rules and hold harmless and indemnify adidas, Academy Sports and Outdoors, the Dallas Mavericks, and/or the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising out of either (i) entrant’s participation; or (ii) the receipt or use of the prizes awarded in the promotion. (10) In consideration for being awarded the prize, winner hereby agrees and consents, without further authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind, except where prohibited by law, to the use of winner’s name and/or likeness in any and all advertising, promotions and other publicity conducted by adidas, Academy Sports and Outdoors, the Dallas Mavericks, and/or the National Basketball Association and its Member Teams, NBA Properties, Inc., and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, except where prohibited by law. (11) Contest void where prohibited.
