PREP CLASS INFORMATION:
Mavericks Dancer Prep Classes are being held at Elevation Fitness Club from June 20 through July 20, 2011 . These classes will be held Monday through Thursday from 7:0 0pm-8:00pm and 8:00pm-9:00pm. These classes are not mandatory, but are designed to prepare dancers, 18 years old and up, for the Mavericks Dancers Audition.

PRELIMINARY AUDITION:

WHEN: Saturday, July 23, 2011

WHERE: Hilton Anatole Hotel (Coronado Ballroom)

TIME: Registration 9:00 am – 10:00 am

  • Round 1 10:00 am – 11:30 am
  • Round 2 11:30 am - 1:00 pm
  • Round 3 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm

ATTIRE:

  • Half top (any style, any color)
  • Short Shorts (any style, any color)
  • Nude hose (any brand)
  • White socks
  • White shoes –dancer sneakers or athletic brands

You will learn all the dance combinations at auditions. You will not have to perform your own routine at any time. Finalists will be announced at this time.

FINAL AUDITION:

WHEN: Sunday, July 24, 2011

WHERE: Hilton Anatole Hotel (Coronado Ballroom)

TIME: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm Training Camp Candidates will be announced at this time.

TRAINING CAMP:

WHEN: Monday through Thursday, July 25-28, 2011

WHERE: Elevation Fitness Club

TIME: 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm

THE FINAL TEAM WILL BE ANNOUNCED ON THURSDAY, JULY 28, 2011
Practices will begin Monday, August 1, 2011 and will be held every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Elevation Fitness Club.

REQUIREMENTS: Female-High School Graduate-18 years or older-if selected, must reside in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and have means of transportation-Must be able to attend all rehearsals.

* There are no maximum/minimum height or weight requirements.

A Dallas Mavericks Dancer’s schedule is very busy.

A TOTAL COMMITMENT IS REQUIRED!
