Q: As a tourist how can I purchase tickets to an NBA Basketball game?
A: To purchase tickets over the phone please call the tourism hotline at 407-916-2255. A tourism representative will be available from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time; Monday – Friday. Otherwise; please leave a message and a tourism representative will return your call.

Q: Directions to Amway Arena?
A: From South/Downtown Orlando and Orlando International Airport: Take I-4 East to exit 83B (Amelia Street Exit). Take a left onto Amelia. Amway Arena is on the left.

The ARENA is located at 600 W. Amelia St., Orlando, FL 32801. The phone number is 407.849.2000

Q: Do children require a ticket?
A: For Orlando Magic home games, children less than 36 inches (.9 meters) tall do not need a ticket, provided the child sits on an adult’s lap. There is one price per ticket. No child price.

Q: What is the timeframe of the NBA season?
A: The season runs from October through April. The schedule is released to the public the first week in August.

Q: Where can I park?
A: From the Disney/International Drive and Kissimmee area you will take I-4 East toward DOWNTOWN ORLANDO. Take the AMELIA ST. exit 83B toward CENTROPLEX. Turn RIGHT onto W AMELIA ST. and drive one block, turn RIGHT onto Orange Ave and the entrance to the Orange

County Courthouse parking garage will be on the left hand side. You can ride the Lymmo shuttle or walk 3 blocks to your event. Parking is $5.00 in this garage and there will be a free shuttle there to take you to the arena and back to your car after the game.

Q: When do the doors open?
A: The doors open to fans 1 hour before tip-off. (If the game starts at 7:00 p.m. the doors will open at 6:00 p.m.)

Q: How long will the game last?
A: NBA games will last approximately 2½ hours. There are 4 quarters and each quarter is 12 minutes long. There are also timeouts, halftime shows, etc…

Q: What is the capacity of Amway Arena?
A: The Amway Arena has seating capacity for 17,451 guests for every Orlando Magic home basketball game.

Q: What are my food options once I enter the arena?
A: Concession stands are located throughout the ARENA on the concourse. Hot dogs, popcorn, cotton candy, nachos, combo meals, chips, peanuts and candy can be found in designated concession stand stations. Bottled water, soft drinks, and cold draft beer accompany the wide range of food selections. Concession offerings are often changed to provide new choices but some of the current specialty stands provide the following:

Big Dawgs Dogs serving gourmet hot dogs of all kinds is located behind Section 103.

Pizzeria Uno serving Chicago Style Pizza is located behind Sections 218 and 236.

Subway serving fresh submarine sandwiches is located behind Sections 219 and 201.

Amelias Grill serving hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, french fries, chips, soft drinks and cold beer is located behind Section 116.

Time-Out Lounge is a full service liquor bar offering assorted premium sprits, wines, select import draft and bottled beers, frozen drinks, soft drinks, and bottled water is located behind Sections 108 and 119.

Johnny River’s Smokehouse serving bourbon chicken and Cajun rice, pulled pig hoagie, smoked chicken wings, chips, soft drinks and bottled water is located behind Sections 207 and 225.

Samba Stop a full service liquor bar with a Latin flare serving assorted premium sprits highlighting Mojitos, Margaritas, Flavored Tequilas and Flavored Rums. Additional offerings include wines, select draft and import bottled beers, frozen drinks, soft drinks and bottled water. Hot dogs and nachos supreme will be available on our appetizer menu. It is located behind Section 104.

The Carvery serving assorted carved sandwiches, roast beef, turkey, prime rib, and tenderloin, is located behind Sections 103 and 114.

City Deli serving Cuban sandwiches, beef and chicken pinchos, and nachos supreme is located behind Section 104.

Q: What can I do if my tickets are lost or stolen?
A: In the event that tickets have been lost or stolen each of your tickets pass carries a unique barcode, ensuring that they are authentic. The barcode on your original ticket is cancelled and a new one issued electronically.

Please contact a tourism representative at 407-916-2255 and we will be glad to replace your Tourism tickets. Replacement tickets will need to be picked up by the ticket holder. Please be prepared to show identification. The Orlando Magic Ticket office is unable to send replacement tickets via U.S. mail.

Q: Where do you pick up purchased tickets?
A: On game days, guests may pick up tickets at Will Call, located on the east side of the ARENA. Guests will be required to present a valid photo I.D. and may pick up tickets starting 90 minutes prior to an Orlando Magic game.

Q: What can I bring to the game?
A: We live in a new world following the events of 9/11 and your security is our utmost concern. To that end, and in conjunction with the National Basketball Association, the following items ARE PROHIBITED to be carried into Amway Arena:

BAGS, BACKPACKS AND PURSES
For security purposes, only small personal bags (purses, baby bags, etc.) will be permitted inside the ARENA, and may be subject to search at all entrances. Large bags, coolers, and backpacks are not permitted. There are no storage lockers on the premises. Please make sure that you leave all unnecessary items in your vehicle.

Items Prohibited from Amway Arena:
ALL bags including large purses and backpacks
Coolers – any size, any type
Plastic, metal, or glass cups, cans or containers of any kind
Thermos bottles
Flasks
Food
Beer or liquor
Video cameras
Boom boxes
Flammable liquids
Noisemakers – claxon, bells, whistles, etc.
Laser pointers and pens
Air horns
Poles or rods
Weapons – buck knives, guns, etc.

Items Allowed into Amway Arena:
Fanny packs – unattached from your body
Small diaper bags (if they have an infant with them)
Bottled water – SEALED, 20 oz. or smaller, 1 bottle per person
Plastic baby bottles
Binoculars and binocular cases
Umbrellas
Still cameras and camera cases
Walkman radio w/headset
Insulin and diabetic supplies
Breast pump and supplies
Flags or posters – no larger than 3’x5’

Search Procedures
In the interest of Guest and staff safety, a search process is required by the ARENA and the National Basketball Association. The purpose of this search is to prevent Guests from bringing into the arena unauthorized and prohibited items. Guests who refuse to submit to either visual, wanding or pat down searches will be refused entry. Security personnel will conduct these searches. The Guest must throw the prohibited item in the trash or return the item to their vehicle. Search sticks may be used to move items around, if necessary. Any items in question should be removed by the Guest.

Q: What sort of behavior is objectionable?
A: Profane or abusive language. Threatening remarks, gestures or physical confrontations with other ticket holders. Public drunkenness or any action that disrupts the progress of the game such as throwing objects on the court or entering the court yourself.

Q: Can someone reach me at Amway Arena in case of an emergency?
A: Because of the many requests, paging is not permitted except in cases that are deemed to be life-threatening emergencies by the Orlando Magic. If you need paging, please see a Fan Relations Representative at the Fan Relations Booth, located behind Sections 117 and 118 on the concourse level.

Q: What are the alcohol consumption policies of the arena?
A: Policies as they pertain to alcohol are in place so that you can enjoy the game in a safe and comfortable environment.

Should you have in your possession alcoholic beverages not purchased at Amway Arena, or carried in a prohibited container, you will be asked to surrender it and it will be disposed of by one of our attendants.

You will be refused admission to the stadium if it appears you are intoxicated and be taken to the Security office for evaluation.

State law requires that all persons consuming alcohol must be 21 years of age. If you are under the age of 30 you will be asked to show a valid identification as to your age prior to purchasing any alcoholic beverages. If it is determined you used a false ID you may be subject to arrest.

Only two (2) alcoholic beverages per ID may be purchased at one time.

No alcoholic beverages will be sold to anyone perceived to be alcohol-impaired of intoxicated.

Q: Is smoking permitted inside Amway Arena?
A: Smoking is not permitted once inside the arena. There are designated, roped off areas in front of the North and South main door entrances.

Q: Is there an ATM inside the stadium where I can get cash?
A: For your convenience, ATM machines are located on the concourse level at the east end of the ARENA. They are located directly behind Sections 106 and 107 on the concourse. There is also a ATM machine outside the ARENA. It is located on the east side of the building in front of the box office windows.

Q: If I want to be dropped off is there a designated spot?
A: There is no designated “drop-off” location. However, if you are not able to walk long distances or cannot park in a handicapped space you can be dropped off as close to the arena as possible. Traffic personnel will try to assist you if they can.

Q: If I require handicapped parking where can I park? And where can I enter?
A: The Orlando Magic is committed to providing every Guest with a comfortable and enjoyable experience at the arena. The ARENA is a fully accessible arena for all Guests. The disabled entrance is located on the east side of the ARENA. The entrance is located through the double glass doors to the right of the box office windows. Reserved Disabled parking for the ARENA is now available, go to www.orlandocentroplex.com for information on how to guarantee your parking. Non-reserved disabled parking also available on a first come basis In the Orlando V-Tech garage, CP1 and CP2 garage and Lot #1 on Livingston Street has a special entrance for the disabled parking just west of the Marriott Crosswalk. Guests are encouraged to arrive one hour prior to tip off to improve their chances of attaining a disabled parking space.

Q: What do I do if I lose someone or can’t find someone in the arena?
A: Contact the Security Office at Section 118, extension 4200. All guests who would like to register their child for the Tag-A-Child program may do so at the Fan Relations Booth located behind Sections 117 and 118 on the outer concourse. The child will receive a wristband with his/her name and seat location. If the child becomes lost, the wristband will give an event staff employee or police officer the necessary information to escort the child back to his/her seat. If a parent is not there, the child will be taken to the Fan Relations Booth.

Q: Is it possible to page someone inside the stadium?
A: Because of the many requests, paging is not permitted except in cases that are deemed to be life-threatening emergencies by the Orlando Magic. If you need paging, please see a Fan Relations Representative at the Fan Relations Booth, located behind Sections 117 and 118 on the concourse level.

Q: If I have to leave the arena, can I get back in?
A: Guests may not re-enter the ARENA unless they have made arrangements with the Orlando Magic Fan Relations Staff prior to leaving. Re-entry accommodations are up to the discretion of the Magic and strictly limited to emergencies only.

Q: Can I have an announcement put on the magic vision screen?
A: Have a message for a special someone that you want played during halftime of an NBA game? Whether it is a birthday, anniversary, or just a welcome message, say it in style! For an investment of just $50 you can have your special message displayed. To place your message, contact the Orlando Magic at 407.916.2674.

Q: How can I purchase official Magic merchandise?
A: Orlando Magic and NBA merchandise can be purchased on the concourse behind Sections 104, 109, 115, and 120. Merchandise can also be purchased online by visiting the Official Orlando Magic Team Shop at www.orlandomagicshop.com!

Q: How can I purchase an official Magic Guide?
A: The Orlando Magic Media Guide is available every season. Guides may be purchased by mailing a check or money order to Media Relations, Orlando Magic, 8701 Maitland Summit Blvd., Orlando, FL 32810 and they are available at all retail stands during all Orlando Magic home games at ARENA. Q: How can I purchase an official Magic yearbook?
A: The Orlando Magic Yearbook is available at all retail stands during certain Orlando Magic home games at the ARENA. A: Magic Magazine, the official team magazine, is available at all retail stands during all Orlando Magic home games. New issues of Magic Magazine are available each month. The magazine is also sold on the concourse and in the stands during the pre-season. Fans may also subscribe to Magic Magazine. Q: How can I get a Magic player’s autograph?
A: Autographed items can be purchased through on-line auctions (www.orlandomagic.com), and during the season at select games auctions and raffles, which benefit the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation, a fund of the McCormick Tribune Foundation. For additional information, please call 407.916.2641.

Q: What radio station broadcasts the Orlando Magic basketball games?
A: The Magic Radio Network encompasses radio stations across the state of Florida. AM 580 WDBO in Orlando is the flagship station for the Network. A complete listing of affiliate stations can be found at www.orlandomagic.com. Radio broadcasts on the Network are produced by Orlando Magic Broadcasting. Each broadcast includes a 30-minute pre-game show, Magic Tonight. Magic Rewind, the post-game show, follows every Magic game and provides fans an opportunity to call in and talk to Magic Assistant Coaches and special guests.

The Orlando Magic has also partnered with 740 The Team in Orlando to provide various Magic related programs throughout the week.

In Orlando, all games are also broadcast in Spanish. The games can be heard on Salsa 1030 AM.
