ORLANDO – One would expect Brandon Knight to be among the most polished players at the 2012 AirTran Airways Orlando Pro Summer League considering his experience last season with Detroit and his already refined set of skills.

So it's really no surprise when you see a stat line of 19 points, 14 assists and three rebounds from one of the blossoming point guards in the NBA.

Knight's playmaking and scoring excellence catapulted the Pistons to their third victory of the week as they coasted past the previously undefeated Boston Celtics, 93-79, on Thursday.

Austin Daye contributed 15 points, eight rebounds and five blocked shots for Detroit, which shot 49 percent from the field. Khris Middleton added 12 points, while Andre Drummond recorded 10 and eight rebounds.

Kris Joseph and JaJuan Johnson paced the Celtics, who mustered up 14 fewer assists than their opponent, with 17 points each and Jamar Smith poured in 13.

After three consecutive solid performances this week, Jared Sullinger struggled and finished with 11 points on 2-of-9 shooting from the field.

The Pistons will look to improve to 4-1 when they face the 76ers in the final day of summer league action in Orlando, while the C's will try to recover in their clash with the Magic.
