Dear Season Ticket Holders,
Thank you for your commitment to the Orlando Magic. I want to express our gratitude for your loyalty and unwavering support. This organization proudly represents our city but it is our Season Ticket Holders that are the backbone of this franchise. It is through your belief in us that our team has achieved great success in a short amount of time.
I want you to know that I understand your concerns with the NBA work stoppage. In order to ease those fears we want to do whatever is necessary to protect the investment of our most important clients; you, our Season Ticket Holders. In light of that, we are providing you with three loyalty options to not only protect your investment but to reward your loyalty to us. Outlined in the enclosed brochure are details of the loyalty options that you have to choose from, each of which will provide benefits in the event that any games are cancelled due to a work stoppage.
By choosing either of the Magic Options you will have the opportunity to earn up to 10% APR in food, beverage, and/or merchandise credits or up to 5% APR cash payments on the value of your season tickets. In exchange, you agree to leave your season ticket funds within your account, the value of which will be applied towards your 2011-12 or 2012-13 season tickets, as applicable. As an added benefit, if the entire 2011-12 season is cancelled, your 2012-13 season tickets are guaranteed not to exceed the cost of your 2011-12 season tickets. Be sure to respond soon, as the best benefits are only available until August 31, 2011.
By choosing the Base Plan you will have the opportunity to receive a refund for the value of any games missed plus cash payments of up to 1% APR of the value of your season tickets. However, if the entire 2011-12 season is cancelled there is no guarantee that your season ticket price will not increase for the 2012-13 season.
We also want to reassure you that all of our efforts are focused on reaching an agreement; one that is in the best interests of our teams, our players, our fans and our game. Our goal is a sustainable business model that enables all 30 teams to be able to compete for a championship, fairly compensates our players and ensures a world-class experience for our fans.
Thank you for your continued support as we remain focused on the task at hand, being world champions on and off the court.
BEMAGIC.
