Training Tips: Taking On a Triathlon

ORLANDO -- In this league, NBA strength and conditioning coaches are always looking for new ways to ensure their athletes have cutting edge workouts that maximize their performance.

They spend countless hours researching, attending conferences and sharing ideas in order to have new routines that keep things interesting for players.

However, not all strength coaches take this concept to the extreme. But that’s exactly what Magic Strength and Conditioning Coach Joe Rogowski does on a regular basis.

This offseason, Rogowski began training to undertake the Great Floridian Triathlon.

Although the training is not exactly the type of workout you would want to put an NBA player through during the season, there are elements of the routine that could assist members of the Magic during the offseason.
