Projecting Player Rankings for 2014-15 Season
#2 Blake Griffin
Cohen's Analysis: It was just a year ago that I was about to deflate Griffin’s status as just another A- talent. However, he made some significant strides this past season – including improving his mid-range jump shot and becoming far more formidable on both sides of the block – and I believe he has another gear left before he reaches his ceiling. Though he has DeAndre Jordan to handle rim protection and interior intimidation, it’s probably necessary for Blake to become more comfortable guarding opposing low post players if he wants to be a championship-caliber contributor.
