April 10 vs Atlanta

Magic on a Roll
Dwight Howard helped the Orlando Magic keep alive two streaks.

Howard had 20 points and 16 rebounds and Jameer Nelson scored 17 points as the Magic pulled away for a 105-88 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.

Orlando (33-44) won its fifth straight game to remain three games behind Philadelphia (36-41) for the Eastern Conference's final playoff berth with five left.

"Every game is a big game for us," said Nelson, who handed out six assists. "We have to take it one game at a time, play hard and see what we can make out of this."

"Dwight was huge for on the glass and also offensively," Magic Coach Brian Hill said. "But it was another good team win. We got contributions from a lot of guys. We're still alive."
