The 4th Annual FOX Sports Broadcast Auction was held on February 10, 2013 generating over $14,000 for the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation. Throughout the live broadcast of the game fans were able to view and bid on one-of-a-kind auction packages directly from their smart phone or computer. This exclusive broadcast auction is just one of many fundraising activities the OMYF hosts throughout the year to continue its commitment to the children of the Central Florida community.
The 50/50 Drawing of Chance raises funds for OMYF that impact our local community and provides you, our fans, the opportunity to win cash. 50% of all proceeds raised at each home game are awarded to one lucky fan and the remaining 50% benefits the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation. The OMYF is proud to announce that with your participation over $162,000 was raised with 41 lucky fans collectively winning over $81,000 during the 2012-13 season.A huge thank you to everyone who participated in our 50/50 Drawing of Chance and supporting OMYF! At each Orlando Magic home game, the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation hosts an in-game and online auction featuring sports memorabilia autographed by Orlando Magic players and other NBA superstars. During the 2012-13 season, the OMYF raised over $16,000 through the in-game auction selling over 150 limited edition sports memorabilia items!We look forward to sharing lots of exciting new items with all you next season! Through the Orlando Magic Youth Fund, a McCormick Foundation Fund, a total of $1,050,000 in grants was distributed to the Central Florida Community for the third consecutive year in 2013.

The commitment of the Valencia College and Seminole State College OMYF Scholarship program is to provide one two-year $6,000 scholarship at each school to students planning to attend Valencia College or Seminole State College. On May 1st, Timber Creek High School student Reina Ubiles and Seminole High School student Dana Liang were surprised at their schools and awarded the Valencia College and Seminole State College OMYF scholarships.
The annual OMYF Open Golf Tournament is our second-largest fundraiser, benefitting for local nonprofits. Alongside Orlando Magic players and coaches, golfers are treated to an on-course experience that is nothing short of legendary. Orlando Magic Dancers and Corporate Partners positioned throughout the course add to the fun and excitement that our fans have come to expect at any Orlando Magic event.
The Orlando Magic has a specialty license plate, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation. The plate can be purchased at any authorized motor vehicle office. The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles also offers the opportunity to purchase gift certificates for speciality plates.
The Orlando Magic Youth Foundation is dedicated to nourishing the minds and bodies of children that need it most in Central Florida. With administrative costs covered, 100% of your gift goes directly to benefit children. Plus the McCormick Foundation provides a $.50 match to make your donation go even further.
