ORLANDO -- Envision yourself watching an instant classic NBA game. Each team refuses to surrender and both squads continue to expend every last ounce of energy they have left.

The game is in an epic fourth overtime and you turn to your friend sitting next to you enjoying every facet of this immortal contest and lightheartedly ask why can’t both teams win?

ORLANDO – Just as Kyle O’Quinn used a dominant performance in the NCAA Tournament to get recognized by pro scouts before the NBA Draft, he capitalized on a week of summer league action to land himself a contract with the Orlando Magic.

The 6-foot-10, 240-pound center/power forward signed a contract with the Magic on Thursday that means he will be in training camp with the team in October and likely with the squad throughout the 2012-13 season.

ORLANDO – Each of the past two years, as the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation has given away $1 million annually to 19 local non-profit organizations, cheers, tears and boisterous ovations from the recipients have filled the air.

But as it turns out, it’s the Magic that revel in the excitement of the day as much as the organizations receiving grant money that will ultimately be used to impact the lives of children and the unfortunate in Central Florida.
