www.orlandomagic.com Gets a Whole New Look

The Orlando Magic’s record isn’t the only thing to be dramatically improved this season – so is the team’s official website [www.orlandomagic.com]. After a six-month re-design process, the new site offers fans more of what they’ve been asking for: flash animation, video highlights, better navigation, new games, and more in-depth team coverage. In addition, significant enhancements have been made to the ticket-purchasing process.

In partnership with the Minneapolis-based strategic and creative design firm, space150 [space150.com], the Magic, in an ongoing effort to connect with fans and provide added value to sponsors, have added site enhancements that include:

  • Flash-based multimedia players featuring game highlights, exclusive ‘web news’ coverage, and other video features – as well as photo galleries. Fans can expect select video highlights after home games and new photos after road games.

  • New and improved navigation system that makes it easier for fans to get the latest news and information related to the team.

  • Upgraded Seats 3D functionality that makes it easier for fans to purchase tickets by comparing plan prices and attributes, checking seat availability, in addition to being able to see a 3D view from any available seat in the arena.

  • Season ticket holder ticket account access from any page on the site allows season ticket holders to manage their accounts online. Using their account ID and PIN number, season ticket holders can update contact information, make payments toward their account, and conveniently forward their tickets to family, friends and clients by e-mail.

  • New games will be incorporated into the site incrementally with an Eastern Conference Attack game being the first to roll out. Other games, including jigsaw puzzles, will be added in the coming weeks.

  • Magic sponsors will benefit from improved graphics and animation, new inventory options, improved customer activation and site placement.

  • Contemporary graphics incorporate the team colors and brand.

Orlandomagic.com serves as the official source for original content and coverage of the team, including breaking news, features, video clips and more. Users can also sign up for the Magic’s e-mail newsletter e-Magic Insider, which delivers breaking news, post-game quotes, special offers and more, directly to fans’ inboxes.
