- Wesley Iwundu’s versatility is why many think he can be a very productive NBA player. He’s very long, athletic and adaptable. He can play either the two or the three. Iwundu was a triple-double threat some nights during his senior year at Kansas State.
- Iwundu is an excellent playmaker and creator. He has very good ball handling skills and outstanding vision and instincts. He’s able to see over the top of most defenders because of his length. Iwundu excels pushing the ball up the floor and either finishing himself or finding teammates cutting toward the hoop.
- Iwundu’s length gives opponents problems. He has the physical tools to be an outstanding defender. While he probably needs to get stronger to be more menacing on the defensive end, Iwundu’s 7-foot wingspan on the perimeter makes it tough for opponents to shoot over him. He’s also a very good rebounder at his position and he’s versatile enough to guard positions one through three.
