Bo stopped by OrlandoMagic.com on Wednesday to chat live with fans. Check out what Bo had to say about coming back to Orlando, this year's team and much more.
Beny (Ft. Myers): Hey Bo, has training camp started yet? And if so, what are the first few days like?
Bo Outlaw: Yes, camp started. The first few days have been good. We're going over the basics now, what the coach has in mind for offense and defense and how we'll be doing things. It's going well.
Shaun (fla): Hey Bo, how do you feel about playing for Brian Hill and how does his sytem fit with your game?
Bo Outlaw: We just got our system, it's new to everybody and we're all getting acclimated to it, so it's a little early to say how I fit into it or where.
Ryan (Lincoln, NE): Hey Bo, I'm so glad you came back! Why did you choose to sign with Orlando over any other team?
Bo Outlaw: I'm familiar with a lot of the people here in this organization and I like the area, so it was an easy choice for me.
Eric (Longwood): At this stage in your basketball career, what do you hope to bring to a young team like the Magic? As a Magic fan, I remember the "Heart & Hustle" years!
Bo Outlaw: I hope I can bring a little experience and help out in the basketball knowledge side, in addition to bringing some energy to the team.
Ken (Miami): Hey Bo.. Are you going to miss phoenix? What similarities do you see between that team and the Magic?
Bo Outlaw: We've got some young, creative guys and then some veteran guys. The personnell is different.
Rip(Ohio): hi i was wondering what do u do in the offseason ???
Bo Outlaw: I spent the offseason in the gym, working out. Mostly working out, that was it.
Hector (Milwaukee, WI): Hi Mr. Outlaw, How has the rookie, Travis Diener, played so far? What is your opinion of him?
Bo Outlaw: He's playing well. He's shooting the ball well and picking everything up in the short time we've been together here.
Greg, Cedar Rapids: After a few years on the West coast, what, if any, were the differences between Western Conference basketball and Eastern Conference basketball?
Bo Outlaw: Tempo. The East is a little more physical and in the West, you're going get some more running.
Eric, Tampa: Bo welcome back man!! What kind of minutes are you going to see this year? Good Luck!! Go Magic!!!
p.s. I'll be the guy with the goggles on opening night!!
Bo Outlaw: Ha-ha. I don't know. Whatever coach needs, I will do it. 25 minutes or 5 minutes, I'm just about getting wins and doing the very best that I can for the Orlando Magic.
Jonathan(Oviedo): Hey Bo, great to have you back. I know you will contribute to the team, but i was wondering, what are you going to do specifically to help Dwight?
Bo Outlaw: I'm gonna just take some time to work with him and give him some pointers. Thing is, Dwight doesn't need much help on things on the basketball court, he's a good young player. But I will do what I can to show him some of the little things that can help you grow.
Sam (Orlando): Hey Bo, nice to see you back. What has been your favorite on-the-court moment in a magic uniform?
Bo Outlaw: Hmmm. Probably the triple-double I got one time.
Joe (Orlando): Hey Bo,
Do you think the Magic team that you are playing on this year is better than the team you played with your first time in Orlando? Looking forward to seeing you play!
Bo Outlaw: I don't know. I can't say right now, since we're just starting camp. It will take time. Just looking at the individuals on this roster, you'd say 'yeah, this team is better.' But you have to take into account the team play, the chemistry and I'm confident and hopeful we can get that here now, but that still remains to be seen once we start playing games.
Leslie(Ypsilanti, MI): What are your expectatios for the Magic this year and do those expectations involve the playoffs?
Bo Outlaw: Yeah, that's our goal. We need to make the playoffs and go further than last year. If we can get together as a team, I think we can do that.
Bo Outlaw: I'd like to thank the fans of the Orlando Magic and the NBA for chatting with me today. I appreciate the support and I hope you'll continue to support me and the team and I'll see you when I come to a city near you this season.
