Magic Can Clinch Division Title Tonight
If the Charlotte Bobcats defeat the Atlanta Hawks tonight, the Orlando Magic clinch their third straight Southeast Division title and fifth division title in franchise history. However, if the Hawks win, the Magic will clinch with a victory over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday.
If the Bobcats win and the Milwaukee Bucks lose to the Bulls tonight, then if Charlotte and Milwaukee finish in a tie for sixth place in the Eastern Conference, the Bobcats earn the higher seed. This would also mean that since Orlando will be the No. 2 seed, it would play the Bucks in the First Round.
If the Hawks and Celtics finish in a tie at season’s end, Boston will be the No. 3 seed and Atlanta the No. 4 seed by virtue of the C’s winning the Atlantic Division.
If the Toronto Raptors and Chicago finish in a tie for a playoff spot, the Raptors advance by virtue of head-to-head success against the Bulls.
