Magic Donates Portion of 11/23 Ticket Purchase to Coalition for the Homeless

ORLANDO -- The Orlando Magic is teaming up with the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida in recognition of National Hunger and Homeless Awareness month in November. The team will donate $10 from every ticket purchased for the November 23 game vs. the Cleveland Cavaliers back to the Coalition. All tickets purchased via the following link https://oss.ticketmaster.com/html/go.htmI?l=EN&t=magic&o=9942813&g=1278 will be directed towards this initiative. Fans will also be given the opportunity to donate $10 by texting SERVE to 80100.

In an effort to raise awareness for this cause, other Magic initiatives will include representatives from the Coalition for the Homeless at the November 23 game distributing material to fans; the team will utilize its internal assets to further raise awareness, including orlandomagic.com, texting, twitter and facebook; and the Amway Center spire will be lit purple. The Orlando Magic and Coalition for the Homeless have a long-standing partnership reaching 20 years, including its annual team-sponsored Thanksgiving breakfast at the Coalition with players, coaches, staff, dancers and STUFF the Magic mascot. In addition to the breakfast, the team hosts a carnival for the Coalition children.

Coalition for the Homeless is the largest provider of homeless services in Central Florida. This non-profit organization works to transform the lives of homeless men, women and children by providing crucial services to end their crisis of homelessness.
