Key 2010-11 Season Games Announced
Aug. 3, 2010
ORLANDO -- The Orlando Magic will open up the 2010-11 season at the new Amway Center when they host the Washington Wizards on Thursday, Oct. 28 at 8 p.m. ET.
It will be the first time the Magic play against John Wall, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft.
A night later, the Magic will travel south to officially tip off their newly-established, but rapidly evolving, Sunshine State rivalry against the revamped Miami Heat at 8 p.m. ET.
On Christmas Day, the Magic will look to earn some revenge from last season’s Eastern Conference Finals when they host the Boston Celtics at 2:30 p.m. ET on ABC. Orlando will also play Boston, at TD Garden, on Martin Luther King Day at 8 p.m. ET.
The entire 2010-11 schedule will be released on Aug. 10.
