Orlando Magic NFL Picks: Week 12

November 27, 2010

It’s Week 12 of the National Football League season and by now we’re starting to learn which teams have a real chance to contend for a title.

We’re also discovering which “experts” have a shot at walking away with OrlandoMagic.com’s 2010-11 NFL Picks crown.

After a week where all of OrlandoMagic.com’s panel finally looked like actual pigskin prognosticators, it’s still clear which two members are a step ahead of the rest of the pack.

Rashard Lewis and Josh Cohen are neck-and-neck with one another both posting 65-45 records. And it’s starting to go to one of their heads.

“I’m in it to win it,” Cohen said. “I’ve spent hours looking at film and I’m well prepared for this week.”

While Lewis and Cohen are sitting comfortable, Quentin Richardson is still only four selections behind with a 61-49 showing.

And after looking, as one fan called it, as if farm animals made his selections, Dan Savage is inching back in the hunt with an overall record of 58-52, courtesy of correctly selecting 11 of his 15 selections last week.

“After weeks of inviting the other members of the panel over to my house to utilize my NFL Sunday Ticket, I’m cutting them off,” Savage said. “They’re gaining NFL knowledge on my dime and I no longer feel comfortable about that.”

Despite Savage’s vengeful proclamation, it will take a comeback of epic proportions for him to climb to the top of the leader board. And instead of shutting down his humble abode to the other members of the franchise, maybe he should focus more on the game action on Sundays and less on the food spread.

With all that said, let’s move on to Week 12’s NFL picks:

All player picks were compiled by OrlandoMagic.com's Dan Savage. All selections are for entertainment purposes only.
