Terrence Ross has been spectacular the last four games. Here are some impressive statistics during this stretch:

FG%: 56.4 percent
3-Point%: 46.4 percent
Catch-and-Shoot%: 53.3 percent
Pull-Up%: 53.8 percent
Over Screen%: 72.7 percent

The Orlando Magic have indisputably benefitted from having Ross, who is a proven 3-point threat, super athletic and an underrated and pesky defender. He releases his shot so quickly that it’s tough for opponents to challenge and contest him on the perimeter. Also, Ross is terrific squaring up after coming off a screen.

The Magic will have to improve their 3-point shooting next season. They took one step in doing so by acquiring Ross in February. The rest will have to be addressed during the summer (via player development, draft, trades, free agency).

It’s becoming evident that Ross’ production was limited in Toronto because of minimal playing time. He averaged around 22 minutes with the Raptors this season and now 32 with the Magic. More plays are being called for him to score and he’s making the most of his opportunity.

There are still things he needs to work on such as initiating more contact on drives and developing a post-up game (when he’s guarded by smaller defenders).

Let’s take a look at some of his scoring plays from the Magic’s game against the Thunder.
