Evan Fournier is terrific cutting backdoor. He is very good at faking one way and darting toward the basket. He also has tremendous instincts and is unselfish. Fournier is very good at getting defenders out of position. He has a legit Eurostep and maneuvers well on his drives to the basket. In the play featured below, Fournier drives inside, prevents Rodney Stuckey from planting his feet and converts on the hoop-and-harm. WATCH:

Fournier is an above average 3-point shooter. He shot 38 percent from beyond the arc and 35 percent from the 3-point corners last season. Fournier has a high basketball IQ and recognizes when the defense gets lost in matchups.
