ORLANDO – In a locker room full of frustration and slumped shoulders late Wednesday night, Orlando Magic coach Jacque Vaughn summoned one of his best pep talks in an attempt to remind his team of its incredible growth.

Vaughn stressed that even though the Magic crumbled late against Indiana on Tuesday and let a victory slip away on Wednesday in Minnesota that it was still one capable of making major strides this season.

Vaughn then told his Magic (0-2) that if they can go out and protect their home court on Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans (0-1) the proof of that improvement would wash away the frustration of the two losses to open the season.
