Josh Cohen’s Analysis: Tobias Harris did his part – 19 points on 6-of-11 shooting, five rebounds and two blocks – but he had no help in Tennessee’s lopsided loss to Michigan in the First Round of the 2011 tournament.
It was supposed to be one of the more even matchups – a No. 8 vs. No. 9 square off in the West regional. But after a close and entertaining first half, the Wolverines caught fire in the second behind scorching shooting from Zack Novak and Tim Hardaway Jr.
After his impressive freshman campaign, Harris opted to go pro and was selected by the Charlotte Bobcats with the 19th overall pick in the 2011 draft. His draft rights were immediately traded to the Milwaukee Bucks.
