Cohen 8-Ball: Predicting the East All-Star Reserves

Roy Hibbert

Josh Cohen's Analysis (Jan. 26, 2014): Hibbert’s stats won’t necessarily excite you but his effectiveness and ascendancy in the paint will. Hibbert has rapidly transformed into one of the league’s most preeminent defensive centers and he is the anchor of Indiana’s stifling regime.

Considering they have the best record in the conference, the Pacers will warrant at minimum two players – if not three – for the All-Star Game. Paul George has already been voted in. Hibbert, who earned an All-Star trip in 2012, seems most logical to be next in line.
