11/6/13 vs. CLIPPERS

OPPONENT ANALYSIS: New head coach Doc Rivers has already installed a new frame of mind in the Clippers locker room. While its defensive approach is still a major work in progress (last in NBA in points allowed), L.A.’s offense is potent and adaptable. Chris Paul is currently second in the league in scoring and leads the NBA in assists. The Clippers are No. 1 in team scoring and third in 3-point field goal percentage, largely because of J.J. Redick’s scorching start.

BEST STORYLINE: The Magic have done an excellent job protecting their home court to start the season with two wins against quality competition. The Clippers, meanwhile, have notoriously struggled away from home. A victory against another league power would further boost Orlando’s confidence and Amway Center will continue to be recognized as one of the best home courts in the NBA.
