OPPONENT ANALYSIS: Just a week ago it seemed safe to assume the Celtics were headed to the bottom of the standings this season. They lost their first four games and their “starless” cast of quality role players was not intimidating anyone. However, rather rapidly Boston has reeled off some impressive victories, including one against the Magic in Orlando and another versus the Heat in Miami on a buzzer beating 3-pointer. Though still without Rajon Rondo, the C’s may be far more formidable than originally thought, particularly if Jeff Green and Avery Bradley continue playing with such a defining purpose.
BEST STORYLINE: Winning on the road in the NBA, especially for young rebuilding teams, is never easy. Legs get tired in the fourth quarter, the opposing crowds get loud and electric when the pressure intensifies and it’s easy to lose concentration in a hostile environment. Orlando is winless away from Amway Center thus far. Can a trip to Boston, a place the Magic have struggled at the past three years, be a remedy or too arduous to conquer?
