Magic to Participate in Reebok Vegas Summer League
Summer League Underway
Orlando, FL -- The Orlando Magic will participate in the 2005 Reebok Vegas Summer League at Cox Pavilion on the UNLV campus, July 7-13. The Magic will play five games during the competition, taking on New York, Chicago, Charlotte, Dallas and Washington.
This is the second straight season that the Magic have participated in the Reebok Vegas Summer League. 16 teams will compete from July 6-15. Box scores, game recaps and cumulative statistics from the event will be made available by visiting www.orlandomagic.com, which will have a link to www.vegassummerleague.com.
Two of Orlando’s games will be televised by NBA TV on a tape delay basis. The Magic’s game vs. Dallas (July 12) will be aired on July 17, while their game vs. Washington (July 13) will be shown on July 18.
The Magic will practice at the RDV Sportsplex for three days, beginning on Sunday, July 3 from 4:30-6 p.m. They will then workout on Monday, July 4 and Tuesday, July 5 from 10–11:45 a.m., before departing for Las Vegas.
